ETH Meets Technorama on the Digital Platform
11 - 27 September 2020 - The Swiss Science Center Technorama in Winterthur hosts ETH Zurich with its "Digital Platform," an interactive stage on which visitors can playfully reflect on digital transformation and its societal effects.

The ?Digital Platform? is 7.2 × 7.6 metres in size and is wheelchair accessible. Its 35 glass plate modules create a space for installations and objects for visitors' to explore beneath their feet. Built-?in microprocessors and sensors enable an interactive experience with a variety of tangible options. With its modular system, the platform provides a mobile and adaptable display making it the mobile messenger of ETH Zurich.

How do robots move? How do robots learn? Robots are highly specialised machines that solve problems in various areas for us. ETH Zurich conducts research in robotics, and its spin-offs turn robots into marketable products. A wide range of disciplines are involved - from mechanical and electrical engineering and computer science to medicine and agricultural sciences. The diverse world of robotics can be experienced interactively on the ?Digital Platform?.
